About This Location
The Church of Christ in Phoenix serves Arizona’s vibrant capital city, home to over 1.6 million residents in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. Phoenix’s unique desert landscape and year-round sunshine attract visitors and new residents from across the nation, creating a diverse community where long-time Arizonans welcome newcomers seeking opportunity and warm weather.
As part of the greater Phoenix metropolitan area—the fifth-largest in the United States—this congregation connects with a network of Churches of Christ throughout Arizona’s major cities, including Tucson, Mesa, and Scottsdale. The Southwest region has a strong heritage of faithful congregations that maintain biblical worship and teaching traditions.
Phoenix offers a distinctive blend of modern urban amenities and Southwestern culture. The city’s rapid growth means many residents are transplants who understand the challenges of establishing new roots. Visitors will find Phoenix easily accessible through Sky Harbor International Airport, one of the busiest in the nation, making it convenient for those traveling to connect with the congregation.
The desert climate brings hot summers but provides pleasant conditions for much of the year, supporting an active outdoor lifestyle. Phoenix’s diverse economy, anchored by healthcare, education, and technology sectors, attracts professionals and families from various backgrounds.
Those relocating to Phoenix will discover a welcoming church family ready to help newcomers navigate their new desert home while growing together in faith and fellowship.
